Educational information
Credible learning—not personal medical advice.
Our student-writer status
The Clean Choice Project’s writers and members are high school students. They are not registered or licensed dietitians, physicians, or other licensed healthcare professionals, and they do not present themselves as health experts.
Each student writer is expected to complete thorough research and analysis before sharing information with the community. Our work draws on sources such as peer-reviewed journals, established public-health organizations, academic institutions, and other credible health-information resources. Sources are cited whenever appropriate so readers can examine the evidence directly.
The Clean Choice Project shares nutrition education created by student members and reviewed before publication. Careful research and publication review support the quality and credibility of our work, but they do not turn student contributors into licensed professionals or make the content a substitute for individualized professional advice.
Website content, quizzes, newsletters, presentations, and community programs are provided for general educational purposes only. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a medical condition and are not substitutes for advice from a physician, registered dietitian, or another qualified healthcare professional.
Nutrition needs differ based on age, health conditions, medications, allergies, activity, and other individual factors. Speak with a qualified professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have a medical condition or urgent health concern.
Sources can evolve as research develops. Publication review supports credibility but does not guarantee that every conclusion applies to every person.
